Notice – Vauld has suspended operations indefinitely. You can’t deposit, withdraw or sell crypto anymore on Vauld. We advise you to halt any transactions related to crypto and store your coins/tokens on a separate wallet, not on the exchange.

Please make sure you don’t signup or transact on this platform. The article below will be updated with alternative platforms shortly.

Looking for the best way to buy your favorite cryptocurrencies automatically every month? Just like a SIP in mutual funds?

In this article, we will be taking a look at a very distinct Indian cryptocurrency exchange in India, called Vauld.

Vauld allows you to trade, invest and take a loan against your crypto funds.

One of its main highlight features is AIP (Automatic Investment Plan) which allows you to automatically purchase cryptocurrencies recurringly based on conditions you set.

You can set an AIP to purchase cryptocurrencies weekly, monthly, or daily. Even 3 times a day. You can also set a condition to buy the dip of 2% or more.

So how do you set up an AIP in Vauld?

Step 1 – Signup for Vauld

First things first – you need to signup for a Vauld account. With a Vauld account you can trade, invest and take a loan against your crypto coins.

It takes about 10 minutes to get your account approved and you’re ready to create your first crypto AIP.

Step 2 – Create Your First AIP

Login to your Vauld account and click on Invest. The select AIP.

On the right side of the screen, you will notice a bunch of different AIP baskets.

What are AIP baskets?

A basket is a collection of two or more coins/tokens. Each basket created by Vauld is intended to fulfill an investment goal. For example, the AIP basket named “The Best of Crypto” contains only ETH and BTC. Since BTC and ETH are both the largest, most popular crypto coins and essentially market movers.

You can either choose from one of the baskets created by Vauld to your can create your own custom basket for your AIP by clicking on the “Create New Basket” button at the top.

Like I did. I made a basket of Solana, ETH and BTC with 30%, 40% and 30% split of AIP amount respectively.

Step 3 – Set the Conditions for AIP

Then you need to set up a condition(s) that will trigger the AIP to execute the purchase of the coins in your basket automatically.

In this case, I chose to invest every week in Solana for the next six months.

I can set the amount, duration and frequency only once, if you wish to change this frequency, you will need to create a new AIP and delete this one.

Few examples of AIP conditions you can set:

Click on “Create AIP” once you’ve set the investment frequency and conditions.

Step 4 – How to Check On Going AIPs & Execution Confirmation

To check all ongoing AIPs, login to your Vauld account and click on invest, then select AIPs.

Here you can find the ongoing AIPs. You can also see the returns you’ve made so far on the investments made through each AIP.

To stop or pause an AIP, simply click on it:

Once you’ve set an AIP, its’ time to wait until the AIP is executed. The AIP will be executed the same day for the first time.

This means if you’ve created an AIP on Tuesday to invest weekly, it will begin on the same day and be executed on every oncoming Tuesday.

The moment your AIP is executed, you will receive a confirmation via email.

That’s it – you can now invest in cryptocurrencies on autopilot.
