This is a hot question – how do I track all my crypto investments in one place?

Is there is an app to help me create my crypto portfolio, manage my transaction and display price fluctuations in one dashboard?

Well, there is.

And it’s called the CoinMarketCap app.

CoinMarketCapp allows you to track every single one of your crypto purchases, transactions and price record. Everything in one convenient app.

See, there are tons of exchanges, coins and tokens.

Some exchanges don’t allow you to withdraw certain coins, such as WazirX won’t allow you to withdraw DOGE.

There are times when one crypto wallet that you love to use doesn’t support all the coins you buy. For example, Trust Wallet doesn’t support Cardano. Exodus doesn’t support Matic.

In such cases, CoinMarketCap is an effective app.

It’s a simple cryptocurrency portfolio tracking app that doesn’t infringe on your privacy. At least, when you take the necessary steps I suggest in this article. (Scroll down to privacy tip section below).

How Does CoinMarketCap Help You Track Your Crypto Portfolio?

""

You have to enter the transaction in order to track your cryptocurrencies.

It’s not like it connects to your crypto wallets and pulls the data. Like an app like Mint or IndWealth does.

You have to manually input the number of coins you HODL, purchase, sell or transfer. Every time you transact, you need to update that transaction in your CoinMarketCap account.

This means they don’t have access to your wallet, public keys, exchange, or any other info.

They have a pretty neat dashboard. It allows you to take a peek at your day, month, year and 24-hour performance.

It also has a piechart view and s statistics view. The statistics view allows you to check your daily “Top-performing” and Worst performing” cryptocurrency. And how much you’ve gained in lost in the last 24 hours as well.

CoinMarketCap also has a price alert option. This means you can keep an eye on the market ups and down if you are a trader. (Which is ridiculous, why trade!?)

It has a crypto news feed too, which keeps you updated with the latest market news.

Overall, CoinMarketCap is a nice app for tracking all your crypto coins and tokens in one place. Especially if you have multiple wallets and tons of different coins.

Privacy Tip – Before You Start Using CoinMarketCap

You have to create an account using your email before you start using CoinMarketCap. This means they have a way to track how much money you have invested in crypto, how much and what coins you HODL.

So, while creating a CoinMarketCap account, you should not use the same email as the one you use to access your crypto exchange. Especially if you keep your coins in your exchange spot wallet. (Dont make this mistake, always withdraw your coins to your own wallet).

Use an obsolete email ID that you rarely use, and a pseudonym.

And use their website, not the smartphone app. It’s just an extra layer of security.

One step more, also use a VPN while accessing their website.

Don’t let anyone know how many coins you own.

Since CoinMarketCap is owned by Binance, your data is accessible to an exchange.

I hope this article helped you.
