Cons
Considering its target demographic of “a generation that’s always online”, this card has some really cool benefits and features. One major drawback is that of the railway surcharge. There is a surcharge of Rs 30 + 2.5% of the transaction amount if tickets are booked over a railway counter.
For tickets booked through the railway app irctc.co.in, the surcharge is 1.8% of the transaction amount + applicable service fee. Clearly, the SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card supports flying as a mode of transport over railway transportation.
Also, this card is not for you if :
Your fuel needs are high every month.
You are more of an in-store buyer.
