I’ve been trading forex for five years now, and if a broker makes my life easier, they’ve got my attention.
So I tested TabTrade the way I’d test any broker before trading real money.
TabTrade’s pitch is convincing. You get low-cost access to global assets, including forex, commodities, indices, and shares, with rewarding perks on top.
In this article, you’ll see how TabTrade holds up in practice and what you need to know before you sign up.

How easy is it to get started with TabTrade?
It’s a simple 3-step process.
Step 1: Sign up with your Google, Facebook, or Apple account.
Step 2: Add your basic details, name, phone number, date of birth, and so on.
Step 3: Upload proof of address (Aadhaar/PAN works).
That’s it.
TabTrade usually verifies your documents the same day. Once verified, you deposit funds and start trading.
How easy is it to transfer money on TabTrade?
You get 7 deposit options on TabTrade.

If you’re in India, a Visa card or UPI is the easiest way in. Visa deposits start at $1, UPI starts at $11.
Need a different currency? You can create multiple wallets in a few taps.

TabTrade also gives a 10% bonus on your first deposit, up to $500. You can’t withdraw the bonus directly, but you trade with it.

At my usual risk of 1% to 2% per trade on a $5,000 account, that’s close to 5 trades funded by TabTrade, not me. That’s enough to make me want to test it further.
Fees and charges:
TabTrade hasn’t rolled out all its account types to Indian users yet, only the Standard account is live for you right now.
The upside: no commission, just the spread. Deposits and withdrawals don’t cost you anything either.
What trading features does TabTrade offer?
TabTrade covers the essentials. But nothing here stands out.
TabTrade offers MT5, cTrader, and TradingView, but in India, you can only use MT5 right now. The other platforms are coming later.
Download MT5 directly from TabTrade’s website, or skip the download and use the web trading terminal instead. You get 30+ technical indicators. Basic, but good to have.
Order types cover the basics, market orders, limit buy/sell, stop buy/sell, and stop-limit buy/sell. No advanced order types like cover orders, iceberg orders, or GTT orders, the kind you’re used to with Indian brokers.
Leverage goes up to 1:1000. Without negative balance protection, oversizing here can cost you more than your account balance. Use it deliberately, sized to a strategy you’ve tested, not to chase a bigger position.
TabTrade also offers copy trading through TabTrade Social (available on web, App Store, and Google Play), built on technology from Pelican Exchange, an Appointed Representative of London & Eastern LLP, which is authorised and regulated by the UK’s FCA.
DupliTrade is coming soon too, giving you a second platform to pick from once it launches.
While TabTrade Social opens strategy providers up to anyone, DupliTrade curates a smaller, vetted list, useful if you’d rather choose from fewer, stronger options than scroll through dozens.
You browse strategy providers, check their track record, and choose who to follow.
TabTrade doesn’t vet or endorse any of them. That part is entirely on you.
How user-friendly is TabTrade?
The interface is clean and simple, simple enough that you won’t need a tutorial.
Everything sits in the left sidebar. Once you log in, hold the Tab key to jump straight to the trading terminal.

Live chat can see your full trading account and wallet details, so you’re not stuck repeating yourself. Prefer a real person? You can speak directly with a TabTrade team member too.
Transferring funds and accessing tools feels frictionless.
What perks does TabTrade offer beyond a regular broker?
TabTrade is stacked with perks most brokers don’t bother building.
1. MAM/PAMM accounts
TabTrade isn’t just for individual traders. With MAM/PAMM accounts, you deploy one strategy across every client account you manage, automatically.
Clients still control their funds. They can add money, withdraw, or opt out whenever they want, they just don’t execute the trades themselves.
If you’re a portfolio manager still building your client base, this saves you from building your own account-management setup from scratch. TabTrade handles the multi-account layer with one unified view, so you just focus on managing money.
2. TradePoints
TabTrade rewards you for funding your account and trading actively, through TradePoints, its loyalty program.
But not every trade earns points. Points come only from deposits and trading volume on FX pairs and metals.
You can redeem them for rewards listed on TabTrade’s website, ranging from a 2,000-point conference pass to a 134,000-point Bali retreat.

The new-client bonus unlocks after 5 lots of trading, capped at 10,000 points total. Active trading earns points separately, capped at 10,000 a month, so the bigger rewards take real time to reach, think months of consistent trading, not weeks.
If you already trade profitably and need a broker anyway, this is a genuine long-term bonus. It’s not a reason for a beginner to start risking money.
3. TabTrade+
TabTrade’s core platform is free. TabTrade+ is optional, built for traders active enough to make it pay for itself.
You get $1 cash back per eligible lot traded. Do the math against the subscription cost:
- Founding Member ($29/month): breakeven at 29 lots
- Annual ($49/month): breakeven at 49 lots
- Monthly ($59/month): breakeven at 59 lots
Trade above it, and the subscription can pay for itself.
Beyond cash back, TabTrade+ adds complimentary VPS hosting (usually a separate cost elsewhere), priority support with direct escalation to the CEO, early access to new features, and discounts from TabTrade’s partners.
You can try before you commit. TabTrade+ comes with a 7-day free trial, no plan required upfront.
4. Personalised offers
Most brokers run one-size-fits-all campaigns. They end up rewarding a small slice of users and mean nothing to everyone else.
But on TabTrade, the coupons and campaigns you see are shaped by your own activity, so when one shows up, it’s worth opening.
How compliant is TabTrade with Indian regulations?
Short answer: it isn’t, not the way a SEBI-regulated broker is.
Trading forex or CFDs through an offshore broker falls outside what FEMA permits for retail forex trading, and that may carry real penalties.
Plenty of Indian traders use platforms like TabTrade anyway. That’s a decision you should make with your eyes open.
If that risk isn’t one you’re willing to carry, or you need the protection a SEBI-regulated broker gives you, TabTrade isn’t for you.
If you understand exactly what you’re stepping into and still want the access, it delivers on almost everything without the runaround.
Verdict
TabTrade gives Indian traders access to markets most Indian brokers can’t touch, without piling on fees or friction to get there.
The no-commission Standard account, the add-ons, and the loyalty perks stacked on top make TabTrade hold up well against brokers anywhere, not just in India.
If you already trade forex, commodities, US indices, or equities, TabTrade lets you do it with less hassle and lower charges.
If you’ve never traded outside what Indian brokers allow, it opens the door to markets you haven’t touched yet.
For experienced investors, it adds new opportunities and hedging options you won’t get with an Indian broker.
The only catch: TabTrade still sits in a legal grey area for Indian traders.
If that’s not a dealbreaker, go try TabTrade.
